Encore for The Cemetery Club

To meet audience demand, Stanthorpe Little Theatre is putting on an extra performance tomorrow night, of its highly successful play ‘The Cemetery Club’.
Written by Ivan Menschell, a scriptwriter for television series ‘The Nanny’, the story follows three widows who are all dealing with loss in different ways. Then they meet a single, eligible widower and their lives change forever. Peppered with funny one-liners and some side-splitting comedy, it is also a touching poignant commentary on love, lasting friendship, and
growing older.
“The Cemetery Club is a wonderfully written play,” director Veronica Hammond said.
“I think this is a highlight of my time at the Little Theatre. The set is marvelous, the cast have risen magnificently to the challenge and it really is an evening of theatre not to be missed.”
The additional performance is at 7.30pm at Stanthorpe Little Theatre, 20 Connor Street.
The final performance is on 7.30pm Saturday.
Tickets are available from Granite Newsagency, Stanthorpe, on (07) 4681 1099 and at the door. However, bookings are recommended to ensure a seat. Refreshments will be provided and the performance is rated PG.
