For a good break

OVER 40 and need a holiday? Then check out the Koala Motel in Wakerley.
A friendly family atmosphere, plenty of good food, great staff and a great destination are the key to the success of the Gray family who have been operating specialised seniors and over forties five-day holidays from their motel in Wakerley, 20 minutes south-east of Brisbane since 1994.
They offer a five-day holiday with free pick-up from Warwick, Toowoomba, Gatton and places in between beginning Monday 6 October.
Visitors stay at the Koala Motel and are taken on day trips to destinations throughout South East Queensland. Destinations include a comprehensive tour of Brisbane City, including Mt Coot-tha and Kangaroo Point Cliffs. They also visit Ettamogah Pub for morning tea on the way to Noosa for lunch and along the coast to Caloundra.
Further day trips during the week include Surfers Paradise, Burleigh Heads and Coolangatta. Then there is a barbecue lunch and a visit to North Stradbroke Island – travelling across Moreton Bay from Cleveland and another day includes a trip up the Brisbane River on the City Cat. Each day is jam-packed with tourist activities.
Transportation is in the motel’s own new luxuy 53-seat coach, fully air-conditioned with safety belts of course.
The success is measured by the number of return visits which the Gray family attribute to the happy and dedicated staff that all go out of their way to make sure everybody has a safe and memorable holiday.
Full hot buffet breakfasts, morning teas, lunches, afternoon teas and three-course evening meals are included every day along with accommodation and the coach tours for $692 per person on a twin-share basis. Single supplements are available for $80.
For further information phone the motel direct on (07) 3245 6555.
