True cost is now clear

SOUTHERN Downs Regional Council (SDRC) has apologised for an error in water charges appearing on its website, which the Free Times used last week.
“Council apologises that there is an error on its website with a water charges table, which was re-printed in the Southern Free Times (16 October edition),” a SDRC spokeswoman said.
“The Wallangarra water consumption charge has $1.16/kL listed however this should be $1.29/kL.
“Council has corrected this error.”
