HAPPY Smiles Tenterfield clinic is locally owned and operated and offers a patient-dentist relationship based on mutual trust, excellent customer service and the best personalised patient care available.
The goal of Happy Smiles is to provide superior dental care while creating lasting relationships with each individual patient.
Not only that, but their dental team is comprised of highly trained and skilled professionals who are licensed and certified.
These include Dr Harshwardhan Narde who graduated from Bangalore institute of Dental Sciences and after finishing in 2009-’10 worked under a senior prosthodontist and owned his own private practice for four years. He received his Australian Dental Council qualification in 2013 and has been practising in private practice since.
Dr Ajay Coutinho is a general dentist with special interest in endodontics. He has completed his Masters in Endodontics a three year Post Graduate masters program from Manipal in India.
After completion of his Masters he has worked as a lecturer in the university in Mumbai, India. He practised in Dubai, UAE and after that came to Australia where he has worked for four years in the public system in Perth and then moved to Ballina in North Coast NSW to join the North Coast Area Health service for three years.
He has been working with Happy Smiles Grafton and Yamba since day one and is one of the directors of the practice.
Dr Phillida Noronha received a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in1995, College of Dental Surgery MAHE, Manipal India. She went on to post-graduate work in periodontics 2001 at Rajiv Ghandi University India.
Dr Phillida passed her Australian Dental Council exam in 2008 and is a general dentist registered with the Dental Board of Australia.
She has extensive experience working as a general dentist in Goonellabah, Lismore, Ballina, Yamba and Grafton.
Dr Phillida’s special interests are periodontics (gum disease) and preventive dentistry.
Rob Lennon has been a denture technician and prostheticist for 13 years.
He has a special interest in full and partial dentures, including metal dentures and implant retained dentures.
Graduating from RMIT university in Melbourne, Rob ran his own successful prosthetic and orthodontic laboratory and denture clinic in Melbourne for six years.
Rob was born and raised in Melbourne before being lured by the sea change and lifestyle of the far north coast to join the team at Happy Smiles Dental.
Happy Smiles are members first for BUPA, previously known as MBFand HBA. members choice providers for Medibank Private and oral health program participants for HCF.
