Poultry on show

Stanthorpe Agricultural Society Poultry Club is preparing for its annual show on Sunday.
It will take place in the Poultry Pavilion at the Stanthorpe Showgrounds.
Prize money of $100 plus sash and trophy will be awarded to the Champion Bird in each of the categories.
The Grand Champion Bird of Show will be presented with the RSL Perpetual Trophy and Tri-colour ribbon.
Every junior entry receives an encouragement award. Adam Jannusch will have the hard job of judging the birds.
Poultry enthusiasts are welcome to come along to view the birds on show and meet poultry club members from 9.30am.
A raffle will be running throughout the morning, with prizes on offer. Refreshments will be available to be enjoyed by all in the main pavilion.
Further details and forms can be obtained from Luke Hancock on (07) 4683 6315.
