Warwick resident John Reimers will join thousands of other Australians in the Convoy of No Confidence and he wants your support.
Participants in the convoy have no confidence in the Federal Government and, as such, will converge on Parliament House in Canberra on August 22, where petitions will be handed to Prime Minister Julia Gillard.
Mr Reimers is at Rose City Shoppingworld until Saturday afternoon to obtain signatures on his petition.
He also wants local residents to join the convoy.
A total of 11 convoys covering Australia will come together outside Parliament House in the Convoy of No Confidence. One of the convoys will travel through Warwick on August 20.
Mr Reimers said people would be in motorhomes, trucks, cars and possibly on tractors.
“We’ve just got so many people backing this movement because it’s about time people sat back and took notice of what’s happening in our country,” he said.
“This is not just about the carbon tax, this is not just about the cattle exports, and this is not just about the NBN (National Broadband Network). This is about everything that has been touched by the government and has failed.”
Mr Reimers said participants wanted the Prime Minister to call another election.
