THE Warwick Storm mixed touch team needs sponsors so they can get to a big local touch carnival.
They want to attend the third annual Battle on the Border touch carnival being held in Goondiwindi on 28 and 29 November.
Team organiser Paul McGrady said sponsors should hop on board as the team was about showing young people the value in a healthy lifestyle.
“Our aim is looking at giving young people a chance to play touch and prove to them that you don’t need to take drugs or alcohol to have a good time,” he said.
“There are other ways to feel good about yourself.”
Any donation from sponsors would go to paying for the team nomination, food for the athletes, travel and accommodation. Any businesses wanting to get involved would have their business name put on the team shirt.
