A POLICE operation near Dalveen has netted four drug-drivers at the weekend according to Stanthorpe police.
Officer in charge, Senior Sergeant Mark Ireland said the police enforcement operation the New England Highway was held in conjunction with the Dark Forest Festival held at Braeside.
He said it was a busy weekend for police with a drink-driver, a 27-year-old male tourist, also intercepted in Britannia Street, Stanthorpe early Sunday morning, recording .075 per cent on the breathylser.

Drugs charges
A STANTHORPE man is expected to be charged later this week on drugs charges following an operation on Friday afternoon.
Snr Sgt Ireland said police executed a search warrant on premises in College Road, Stanthorpe, locating about 100 small cannabis plants.
He said they expected to charge a male later this week with drug-related offences.
Meanwhile a 17-year-old man accepted drug diversion on Friday evening after police located him in Weeroona Park in possession of a quantity of cannabis and smoking utensils.

Drivethrough drive-off
POLICE are seeking witnesses to a hit-and-run traffic crash in Mayfair Lane, Stanthorpe, near McDonalds Restaurant, about 5.40pm on Tuesday 8 December.
The victim was about to leave the carpark on the eastern side of McDonalds when a white sedan being driven by a male of Asian appearance turned and collided with the vehicle, leaving the scene of the crash without exchanging details.
The victim was unable to obtain the registration number of the offending vehicle.
