TENTERFIELD’S newest op shop got off to a flying start when it opened it’s doors Friday morning 1 April.
The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter, thanks to the support of volunteers and the community, opened a Helicopter Op Shop.
Doors opened from 9am to 4pm with the shop located at 91 High Street.
Rescue Helicopter fund-raising manager Zeke Huish said all were welcome to come and find a bargain or donate items to help raise support for the region’s rescue helicopter service.
“We’ve been so fortunate to find a great location in town and have people register to become volunteers to help run the shop,” he said.
“The Tenterfield community has a strong appreciation for the rescue helicopter service and we can’t thank everyone in the region enough for helping to make this new shop possible”.
