Man sought over petrol thefts

Police are appealing for public assistance to help identify and locate a vehicle and a man pictured.

STANTHORPE police are appealing for public assistance to help identify and locate a man believed to be able to assist with their inquiries into the theft of petrol from two service stations.
Senior Sergeant Mark Ireland said the first incident occurred on 30 March, about 3.40pm, at a service station on Albion Street, Warwick.
The second incident occurred on 7 April, about 8.50pm, at a service station on the New England Highway, Stanthorpe
The vehicle is described as a silver 2003 Saab sedan bearing the West Australian registration number 1EMR 731.
