ON Friday night, 29 April about 130 Warwick State High School seniors attended their Year 12 “Fire and Ice” formal.
The formal committee led by committee chair Maddie Nero and mentor teacher Lydia Strahley had worked tirelessly on the planning for this event.
The night was awash with floor-length gowns, featuring lace and diamantes in all the colours of the rainbow.
Many of the male students opted for classic black suits, however the beau of the ball, Riley, wore a dashing blue suit.
Hundreds of people gathered at the school to watch this year’s red carpet arrivals.
Spectacular cars were on display as they conveyed the students to their formal. Family and friends gathered with the seniors for a pre-formal event, socialising and enjoying the night before the students attended a formal dinner at Kings Theatre.
