Living in a material world

YEAR one students at West Warwick School have been learning about materials that objects are made from and what can be done to physically change them.
They have been investigating materials that are rigid, materials that are flexible, waterproof, and will fold and cut.
Teacher Margaret Bernoth said that for their science project, children had to choose a material to make a boat that can float and carry marbles.
She said there were some successes… and some funny outcomes!
