New gym set to open soon

Getting fit is often on top of our New Year’s resolutions list and Anytime Fitness is making that easy to achieve with their Warwick gym set to open within weeks.
Many of our older residents have already taken up the challenge with a number of people in their 70s joining the health club, which is expected to open in mid-January.
Owner Sonia Carmody said about 40 to 50 per cent of residents who have signed up are in their 40s to 60s.
Mrs Carmody believed this exemplified the culture of Anytime Fitness where everyone is welcome regardless of age or fitness levels.
“I think Warwick has a large fitness culture. We’ve been really impressed with the response we’ve had. Warwick has definitely responded up to and beyond what we’re expected,” she said.
Interestingly, the building in which the gym will occupy at 110 Grafton Street is nearly 110-years-old.
Anytime Fitness will be open seven days a week with 24-hour access and security and will provide both cardio and strength equipment in air-conditioning comfort, along with private restrooms and showers.
