Meet your Tenterfield Showgirls

Amy Hill, 18, has just completed year 12 and two TAFE courses. Her goal is to get an apprenticeship in childcare and a full Certificate III in Children’s Services. Amy’s hobbies are soccer, motorbike riding, getting out and being active.
Emily Hickey, 18, has just completed year 12 and partial child services Certificate II. Her reason for entering Miss Showgirl is that it’s a great opportunity for some community involvement. Her goal is to become a social worker or work with children in childcare.
Jamie-Lee Doig-Cooper, 19, has completed a veterinary nursing course. Jamie-Lee’s hobbies are riding and training horses, riding motorbikes and pig chasing. She entered the showgirl competition to get involved with the show and the local community.
Kasey Wells, 18, has just completed year 12 and was school vice captain of Tenterfield High School. Kasey’s goals are to complete an apprenticeship in hairdressing and then travel overseas to be a nanny or hairdresser. Her hobbies include reading and spending time with friends and family.
Melissa Ware, 19, has completed a traineeship in retail and will attend university in 2012. Her hobbies are spending time with friends and family, reading, watching films, painting, photography, scrapbooking, baking and camping. Melissa’s goal is to complete university and teach children.
