Miss Allora Showgirl 2011

Miss Alana Frizzell was the first of the Allora Showgirl entrants this year and was crowned Miss Allora Showgirl for 2011 on Saturday.
She was 19 by the time of the Showgirl judging on Saturday, having celebrated her birthday at the Duck Races on Australia Day.
Alana now lives in Warwick, but attended the Allora State School where she was elected school captain in 2007. As a school based apprentice, she is in the third year of her Graphic Design apprenticeship with Creed and Lang Commercial Printers in Warwick.
In 2008, Alana won the Clifton based Lone Eagle Flying School Scholarship. She is still studying for her pilot’s licence, as flying remains one of her primary interests. However, her time in the air has been reduced due to her apprenticeship commitments at Creed and Lang, and the requirement for her to attend TAFE at Southbank on a regular basis.
