Santa’s Arrival
On Saturday 4 December, Christmas festivities will kick off at Rose City Shoppingworld with the arrival of Santa at his North Pole Gingerbread House.
From 10:30am to 1:30pm there will be a life size Gingerbread man, face painter and balloon modeler, with Santa arriving at 11:30am and photos commencing at 12pm.
You’ll be able to get your sweet snap with Santa from 10am – 1pm and from 2 – 4pm Monday to Saturday, and from 10am – 1pm Sunday, with photo prices starting at $15 and multiple packages available.
Make sure not to miss out, book the photo with Santa online using the QR code or go online to rosecityshopping.com.au and head to their Christmas tab for all the information.
Santa has gone digital!
Kids can send a letter to Santa Claus via email this year! Write to Santa at santa@northpolepostoffice.com.au, and include your name and message. Get in quick, the North Pole Post cuts off Tuesday 21 December, please allow up to four days for a reply.
Christmas Workshops
From Wednesday, 15 December to Friday 17 from 10am to 1pm, there will be FREE Christmas activities for the kids, including decorating a gingerbread house money box, Santa hat, Christmas stocking or pressie bag. There will also be mini Christmas shows and the opportunity to get a selfie with Rudolf!
Then on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21, from 10:30am to 1:30pm, the kids can design a Christmas bauble and snowflake frame just in time to hang on the Christmas tree.
Throughout the Christmas period there will be roaming entertainment, Rudolf and the STARZ dancing troupe.
Free Gift
To thank customers for shopping at Rose City Shoppingworld this Christmas, when they spend $30 or more at one of the specialty stores, the centre wants to give a gorgeous free gift! There’ll only be two days to collect, Friday 17 and Saturday 18 December from 10am to 1pm, see our giveaway booth near Woolworths. On offer will be a Christmas plate, bowl, mug and frame. Christmas Kindness
The Salvation Army Wishing Tree will be back in the centre this year from December 1st to 18th. Help us help those less fortunate by taking a gift tag from the tree, purchasing a suitable gift, and delivering it, unwrapped, to centre management.
Gift Wrapping Service
Southern Downs Ark will again be providing a gold coin donation gift wrapping service. Find them at the bottom of the Woolworths travelators daily from 9am, 6-24 December.
