Wedding is a family affair

Mark and Tamara celebrate their wedding with cake.

“Just how I had ever hoped it would be” – that’s what all brides want to be able to say about their wedding and for Tamara Griffiths it was all that and more.

Her wedding to Stanthorpe boy Mark Boston at her brother-in-laws farm at Peak Crossing was a warm, fun, family affair for the pair who first met up north – way up north.

“I met Mark in the Northern Territory when I was visiting my mum and dad, I fell in love and have not looked back,” Tamara explained.

The wedding itself reflected the fun, family loving couple.

“There were no groomsmen, the bridal party was all our children – Lillee and Kortney Ploetz and Frankie and Ellie-Mae Boston.

“All the effort my family and some amazing friends put into to make the day just perfect was just amazing. The amount of good family and friends that came from all over just made it even more special.”

And for Tamara the fact that both her parents, Trevor and Davina Griffiths were there to help them celebrate was just the icing on the cake.

And speaking of cake- that came from Foxy Bakery in Stanthorpe – a taste of home for Mark while the photographer, Nat from Mrs Smith Photography, added her own special magic to the day.

“The photographer did some crazy photos just for me and Mark,” she said.

While Mark is from Stanthorpe, Tamara is Toowoomba born and the family now live at Peak Crossing.
