Opera Queensland’s young artists will be in Stanthorpe this Sunday.
The Opera in the Winery event will be held at Robert Channon Wines. There will be a buffet lunch at $25 pp from 12pm in the Singing Lake Café before the concert.The concert starts at 2pm andtickets are $20. For information or for bookings callRobert Channon Wines on 07 4683 3260.
“The program this year is wonderful with arias from Handel, Puccini, Verdi, Saint-Saens, Rossini, Donizetti and Offenbach plus songs from the Student Prince, Carousel, Porgy and Bess and much more,” Robert Channon said.
“Performing this year will be soprano Heru Pinkasova, mezzo Deborah Rogers, mezzo Jade Moffat, tenor Phillip Prendergast and pianist Jillianne Stoll. It is our privilege each year to hear some of Australia’s finest young singers and this year will be no exception.
“We also have two $220 Gift Certificates from Life in Bloom Photography for aportrait sitting to give away as Lucky Door prizes and admission as usual includes a free glass of wine in the interval. If you love singing and opera, this is a concert not to miss.”
