Love shone bright on a grey day

The happy couple are congratulated by their firends and family.

Rain and mud couldn’t put a dampener on the wedding of Allahna Picknell and Kyle Marsh at Stanthorpe on 3 September.

The couple were married at Todd and Amelia Wilshire’s house with their reception held at the Stanthorpe International Club.

“It was one of the happiest days of my life,” Allahna explained.

“Even though there was rain and mud, the sun still made an appearance half an hour before I walked down the aisle.

“To have our beautiful children Jackson and Bonnie, family and friends to be a part of our special day was just truly priceless.”

Allahna is the daughter of Michelle Sawyer and Karl Picknell while Kyle is the son of Amanda and James Marsh. Kyle is the eldest of three and Allahna, the second eldest of eight so there was little doubt that their wedding would be a family affair – made even more special with Allahna’s pop Ross Sawyer acting as her witness with Kyle’s best man Jake Mills, as his.

Maid of honour was Bianca Hendry while Allahna’s bridesmaids were Karleigh Picknell, Kelsie Hawksworth, Bec Pearson, Samantha Picknell, Jessica Sawyer, Erika Picknell, Payton Picknell and Kyle was attended by Jake and groomsmen Nic Marsh, Steven Foster, Harry Smith and Casey Leotta.
