Could anyone please explain the ungrammatical use of the above moniker. So much concern about political correctness, while this gross breach of grammatical correctness is used daily, unchallenged.
If such a neuter gender could be a mother, where is the father and the infant, as nothing can be a mother without evidence of both?
Why imply that any mother would inflict such misery on innocent people as have natural calamaties close to us.
Floods, fires, earthquakes, volcanos, tsunamis and all associated sorrow, grief and misery. Who would want to be a mother to be so accused?
