Gearing up for a great ride

Participants in last year’s Rivertree Trail Ride.

On the weekend of November 24 and 25, the swirl of dust and sounds of revving motorbike engines will disturb the peaceful countryside at Liston as the annual St Joseph’s Rivertree Trail Ride gets under-way.
Riders will experience a variety of terrain, including open areas, creek crossings and gorges. They can expect to go through some difficult terrain, which will provide challenges for all levels.
The trail ride committee makes every effort to ensure this event is promoted as a family orientated event. Camping is FREE of charge and includes HOT Showers and Toilet Facilities, plus Onsite Catering.  Even those who are not riding are catered for.
As the major fundraiser for St Joseph’s School, the 2012 trail ride is set to live up to past reputations as one of the best rides. Tickets can be purchased from the school and will also be sold during the week-end, with the raffle being drawn on Sunday, November 25 at the ride.
Come along and bring your family to experience St Joseph’s hospitality and all this trail ride will bring. Any inquiries may be directed to the school office on 07 46 81 5900. For track inquiries, please phone Tony Webb on 0412 980 745.
