In what can only be described as an annual extravaganza of vibrancy and merriment, the employees of Eastern Colour came together to revel in their much-anticipated Christmas celebration, transforming the Stanthorpe Showground Wine Pavillion into a kaleidoscope of festive joy.

As the festivities unfolded, Eastern Colour’s director, Nathan Baronio, took centre stage to express his heartfelt gratitude to the diligent staff who, in the midst of the holiday season, dedicated themselves to the success of the organisation.

Acknowledging the inevitable homesickness that often accompanies this time of the year, Baronio warmly reassured his team, proclaiming, “You are more than just employees; you are an extension of our family. We are profoundly grateful for the unique contributions each one of you brings to our farm.“

In a poignant tribute, Baronio singled out his farm managers, recognising them as the unsung heroes responsible for the cohesiveness of the entire organisation. “You are the glue that binds us together, and without your tireless efforts, we wouldn’t be standing where we are today,“ he declared, drawing applause from the appreciative audience.

Stanthorpe Rotary once again took on the task of catering for the evening and delivered a memorable experience, leaving guests with empty plates, satisfied stomachs, and smiles all around.

Undoubtedly, the pinnacle of the night’s festivities was the captivating display of traditional dances from around the globe. Representing their respective countries, the Eastern Colour employees took the stage with unmatched enthusiasm, showcasing vibrant performances that transported the audience to Samoa, Timor Leste, Tonga, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu. The air was electrified with cultural richness as the performers mesmerised the crowd, proving once again that diversity and unity go hand in hand.

As the night unfolded, it became evident that the Eastern Colour Christmas party wasn’t merely an annual event; it was a testament to the bond shared by the employees, a celebration of their hard work, and a recognition of the unique tapestry of cultures that make up their dynamic team. It was an evening where gratitude, laughter, and tradition converged, leaving everyone with cherished memories and a renewed sense of camaraderie as they looked forward to the promising year ahead
