Gear up for three days of high-octane road racing as the nation’s top motorcycle racers converge on Warwick’s Morgan Park Raceway, July 12-14 for Round four of the 2024 mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship, presented by Motul (ASBK).

Motorcycling Australia CEO Peter Doyle, expressed excitement about the upcoming event.

“We are delighted to be returning to Morgan Park Raceway in 2024, on a circuit which has always been one of the most exciting on the ASBK calendar for producing highly entertaining battles, from the premier Superbike class right through to the stars of tomorrow in the Oceania Junior Cup,“ Doyle said.

“And with the recent on- and off-track upgrades, Morgan Park Raceway has further cemented itself as a staple on the ASBK calendar. It’s going to be another superb round of ASBK action.“

The event, supported by the Southern Downs Regional Council, promises to draw thousands of fans and spectators, delivering a significant financial boost to the region’s economy.

Southern Downs Mayor Melissa Hamilton highlighted the event’s positive impact on the region’s economy and tourism sector.

“The Australian Superbike Championship is a premier event on the racing calendar, and its popular following is set to attract thousands of visitors to our region,“ Cr Hamilton said.

“Warwick’s status as the Horsepower Capital of Australia will be front and centre stage during the Championship, reinforcing our region’s reputation as a top destination for major sporting events.

“The influx of race fans from across the country will provide a significant boost to our local businesses and tourism, benefiting the entire community. Hosting an event of this magnitude not only showcases our beautiful region and country hospitality but also paves the way for future tourism opportunities.“

Round four of the championship will feature the Superbike, Supersport, Supersport 300, R3 Cup, and Oceania Junior Cup classes. Fans can look forward to three action-packed days of practice, qualifying, and racing around the 2.967km track.

In addition to the non-stop racing action, the event will offer plenty of off-track activities for the whole family. Highlights include pit walks, ‘Mini Moto come and try’ sessions, ASBK Trade Alley, and autograph sessions with favourite ASBK riders.
