Also, bowlers who have to travel long distances have to be considered.

The future of this event will be discussed at the next District Meeting on Satuday 19 October. This meeting will be held at Tenterfield.

The Men’s Traditional Pairs will now be played in November. This event has been transferred because of the District Meeting. Clubs should not program events against District Meetings. It is important that members attend the Working Bee on Sunday 20 October in preparation for the carnival.

The September issue of the Queensland Bowler contained an article on the Protection of Umpires, Officials and Players. It is in the interests of players and officials to read this article. A copy of this article is on the club notice board.
