$104k in community donations

Club Warwick RSL has long been an integral part of the Warwick community, providing not only a welcoming space for dining and entertainment but also making a meaningful impact through its generous contributions to local groups and initiatives. Over the past year alone, the club has contributed an impressive $104,000 to various community organisations, both in cash and in-kind donations. This support has been vital in helping these groups thrive and continue their important work within the Southern Downs region.

In addition to its philanthropic efforts, Club Warwick RSL is a hub for connection and collaboration, regularly hosting events and activities that bring people together. From providing a meeting space for local organisations to offering a friendly environment for social gatherings, the club plays a pivotal role in fostering community spirit. Members can also look forward to the exciting Members Sunday Superdraw, which gives members the chance to win either an MG car or one of their other cash prizes, adding another layer of excitement to being part of the club.

The club is also dedicated to cultivating strong leadership within its organisation. This year, they are seeking three new directors to join its Board, with elections scheduled for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 25th March. Recognising the importance of informed leadership, Club Warwick RSL will hold information sessions over the coming weeks. These sessions are designed to provide potential candidates with the insights and knowledge needed to confidently apply for these roles and contribute to the ongoing success of the organisation.

Club Warwick RSL exemplifies what it means to be a true community partner, and its commitment to giving back is a testament to its values. Whether through its generous donations, its support of local initiatives, or its leadership opportunities, the club continues to make a positive difference. If you’re passionate about making a difference and want to get involved, whether as a director or as a proud member of the club, now is the perfect time to connect with this vital community institution.
