An eye for nature’s beauty

AWARD winning photographer, Sandra McEwan, known for her creative perspectives on nature will hold an exhibition at Lorenza’s Coffee Shop in Stanthorpe.
The opening will take place on Friday, 5 July, from 5pm and residents are invited to view a selection from her portfolio which can be purchased on the night or during the month of July.
Sandra has been working in the medium of artistic photography for the past six years and has developed her expertise travelling Queensland and being inspired by the beauty of the landscape.
This can be seen through her depth of perspective when photographing wildlife in their natural environment.
Sandra says she is currently validating and formalising her skills in photo imaging but does enjoy focusing on the natural energy of the environment as subject matter for her photographs that add a level of beauty to any wall.
However, she recognises that in this day and age skill development and computers are necessary tools of the trade for any artist.
Sandra has recently returned from a photographic tour where she was recruited by the Education Queensland to photograph this year’s participants in the Queensland Training Awards while they were at work in the Darling Downs.
