Lucky escape
A CAR driven by a 20-year-old woman crashed into a home on Wallace St at about 2am on Saturday morning.
Warwick Police said the woman had allegedly failed to give way to a truck and was T-boned before ploughing through a fence and into a house.
She was taken to Warwick Hospital as a precaution after she received minor injuries. The residents of the home escaped injury.
The woman was expected to face the Warwick Magistrates’ Court on charges relating to drink-driving and failure to give way.

Slow down
WARWICK Police are reminding motorists to slow down and pay attention to road signs after a string of Friday accidents on 12 July.
Two vehicles collided at the corner of Albion St and Victoria St at about 8.15am.
Police said one of the drivers had failed to give way when the accident occurred.
No injuries were reported and police issued one driver with an infringement notice for failing to give way.
A second accident occurred when a motorcycle rider came off his bike while riding down Iceberg Court at about 9pm. The 32-year-old Warwick man walked away from the accident with minor injuries.

Home break-in
WARWICK Police are investigating an attempted break and enter at Grafton St on Friday, 12 July.
The would-be thieves attempted to gain entry to the home by forcing a window and a door, however, both attempts failed to gain access.
Police said the attempted break-in occurred around 6pm and they have appealed for any witnesses.
