ON SUNDAY 8 December shooters were at the 400-yard range on a very hot day that had a few wind changes. The scores for those with target rifles (Iron Sight) out of a possible 105 were Chris Neave 97.7, Les Pederson 96.3, Rob Sommerville 91.4 and Jim Dickenson who only completed one range 54.6. Welcome to a new shooter Rob Sommereville who had a great first score at Long Range Target Shooting. We hope to see you continue.
The scores for F Class ( Scope Class) out of a possible 126 were Beth Caskey 122.6, David Taylor 115.7, Rob Tyllyer 112.4, Paul Findlay 108.3, Mark Locke 105.5, Rob Smythe 104, Carl Read 104, Margaret Taylor 101.2, David Norman 96.3 and Bob Locke 96.2. Welcome to Mark Locke in F Class who had a great first shoot in Long Range Target Shooting, both new shooters had great scores.
Next Sunday15 December we will be at the 500-ard range, We welcome new members and those wishing to try Long Range Target Shooting to come along and have a go at this sport.
This sport is a great sport to be involved with you will meet great people who are only too happy to assist you. If you do not possess a Rifle for the event we can arrange for a club rifle to be made available.
