Can you lend a hand?

GRANITENET, the online community for Stanthorpe and the Granite Belt, is in need of volunteers.
As a 100 per cent not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers, recruits are needed to make the community a better place and to provide learning opportunities for themselves and others.
GraniteNet needs those residents with skills, or those willing to learn the roles of managers, administrators, trainers, advertising and marketing staff, sales, computer programmers.
Other recruits in demand are those with a Certificate III in Information Technology or higher to assist with computer repair and fault detection.
The organisation offers internet and computer access to the community, and now has a Seniors’ Kiosk giving free internet access and support for seniors.
GraniteNet also offers free web page hosting for community groups in the region; free @granitenet.com.au email addresses and blogs to locals. Businesses can have listings on GraniteNet, and full web design services and software training is also offered.
All money raised goes back into supporting GraniteNet.
