We’ve all witnessed how bored dogs become destructive and begin to chew, bark and dig, especially when they are inside.
Here’s three ways to break the boredom for your loveable canine.
1. Hide and Seek
Play a fun game of hide and seek where you hide and call your furry friend to find you.
Alternatively hide treats around the house and encourage your dog to look for them.
2. A Physical Challenge
Tug-a-war is a challenge, and most canines are up for it.
It’s physical, fun and can tire your pooch allowing you to get back to your business of the day.
3. Give them a Chore
Dogs are pretty smart animals and quite easy to teach.
Share the load of everyday chores by encouraging your dog to help clean up their toys, unload the laundry basket or carry small pieces of clutter to another room.
