Meet lovable, friendly Reba

Please meet Reba, a Great Dane x Neo Mastiff, born on 2 July 2021.

Reba, the Ark Animal of the Week, is very lovable and friendly with everyone, including children and other dogs.

She is a clever girl, eager to please and keen to learn. And being just a young dog, she loves to play! And her favourite playmates are other dogs.

Reba walks well on a simple collar and lead and knows her basic commands – sit, stay, heel and loves toys, especially Kongs, and good meaty bones.

She greatly enjoys ball play and will chase a ball, retrieve it and drop it at your feet. Same again, please! And she loves the car.

Reba is quiet, loyal and vigilant. She doesn’t bark if there’s a stranger in the vicinity. Rather she indicates by her posture that someone is nearby.

She would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time and there is at least one other playful, energetic dog for her to play with.

Given her size, she needs strong leadership and previously lived happily with a single man.

As always, secure fencing is essential.

Reba is untested with cats.

Her adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.

For anyone interested in meeting her, as a first step, please complete our online adoption application at southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/

Reba is available for interstate adoption. Ark offers virtual meet and greets to approved applicants.
