Last week, Churches of Christ hosted their annual Biggest Morning Tea, adding a creative twist this year with a Sip ‘n’ Paint session.

The Biggest Morning Tea is a nationwide event organised by the Cancer Council, encouraging Australians to gather over tea and treats to raise funds for cancer research, prevention, and support services.

Residents from Churches of Christ, clients from RAW and Focused on Care, and community members came together for the event. Participants engaged in a collaborative art project, each creating a masterpiece to take home.

This creative session not only served as a fundraising activity but also fostered social interaction and creativity among attendees.

The morning tea, provided by the talented kitchen staff, was enjoyed by all, adding a delightful culinary touch to the gathering.

This innovative approach to the Biggest Morning Tea was a resounding success, blending artistic expression with community spirit to support a worthy cause.
