All you need to know about the show

Maybe all you need to know is that entertainment provided during our show is free!! All thanks to our generous Sponsors Spano’s IGA, Stanthorpe RSL, Powerlink, Southern Downs Regional Council and Squadron Energy.

Proving to be very popular last year and returning again to give anyone who missed out another opportunity is the climbing wall. Suitable for both children and adults – you will find it in the Kidzone along with Professor Wallace.

In the same area will be Animal Nursery also open both days from 10am and the Racing Ducks!! They have travelled down from North Queensland to be part of our entertainment, so please make them welcome – they might notice the difference in temperature. Each duck has its own distinctive outfit so you can easily recognise each one. And then there is the Chook Poo lotto – will leave that up to your imagination………..

Moving into the Peter Bonner Exhibition Centre you will see the Jason Gray Magic and Circus show – two performances each day 1pm and 7pm on Friday and 11am and 4pm on Saturday. Don’t miss Jason and Rhett shows – great stage presentations and magic!!

Roving around the Exhibition Centre and around the grounds you will find Hulo Hoops, and sometimes a rainbow stilt walker. At other times you might catch a circus workshop or some balloon twisting. If you see any giant bubbles, follow the trail – you will meet Hula Hoops anywhere on the grounds.

This is all well and good, but you may want more…..and there is more…. 5.30 Friday the arena will roar to the sound of Brodie Carmichael and his Aussie FMX performers. The RSL Pipe Band will perform in the following the bikes before a return performance from the Aussie FMX team. To end the evening Spano’s Supa IGA sponsored Sparky’s fireworks will erupt overhead. On Saturday night the very popular Motor Bike Barrel racing returns – to be followed by Brodie Carmichael and his Aussie FMX performers. The very colourful Ute parade will follow the racing bikes before another Aussie FMX performance. Tonight is a night when too many bikes will never be enough. Spano’s Supa IGA sponsored Sparky’s fireworks will light up the sky at 8pm.

Don’t think you have to go home yet – now is the time to move to the Can Bar and Wine Bar to enjoy music from The Berrymen on Friday and The Cole Train on Saturday.
