To participate in the annual Tenterfield Heritage Festival, Jennings Public School students entered the art competition based on water.
The junior class used crayon and brenex paper to create colourful fish swimming in the ocean through coral and seaweed. The senior class created two pieces of art, one based on the water cycle, the other showing fish moving through water.
The Heritage Festival Committee were impressed with the skill of Jennings Public School students and enjoyed judging the colourful art work. The prize winners were: First place Infants Section: Nathanial Flint-Kinsela; First place Primary Section: Jemma Hewat; Honourable Mention: Dylan Cramp and Billi-jo Serafim.
