Have a say in community direction

The Southern Downs Community Plan 2030 will end up being the most important document in Southern Downs Regional Council, guiding future investment, spending and grant funding directions.
The council invites you to participate in one of five Community Visioning Workshops taking place as part of the development of the Southern Downs Community Plan 2030.
Participants at the workshops will not only have the opportunity to contribute their ideas to the vision for this region, they will also have the chance to win a local produce prize pack just by attending.
The workshop will focus on exploring key themes leading to the development of a long-term vision for the whole region. Light refreshments will be served.
Meetings will be held tomorrow from 10am to 2pm at the Warwick Town Hall; Monday, August 15, from 11am to 2pm in the Stanthorpe Civic Centre supper room; Tuesday, August 16, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the Killarney Sport and Recreation Hall; Thursday, August 18, from 7pm to 9pm at the Wallangarra School of Arts Hall; and Friday, August 19, from 9am to 12pm at the Leyburn Country Women’s Association Hall.
