A man is to face court following investigations into an alleged robbery of two people at Stanthorpe on Saturday.
Two young men, aged 16 and 18, were sitting outside a shopping complex on High Street about 6.50pm Saturday when they were allegedly approached by a man demanding money from them.
The younger boy declined as he had no money with him.
The man allegedly attempted to punch the younger boy and then pushed the 18-year-old against a wall and demanded money. The youth handed him money from his wallet.
The man allegedly threatened the boys before leaving.
Police were later called to a disturbance nearby in Marsh Street where a man was arrested for public nuisance.
The 20-year-old Wynnum man was also charged with robbery using violence, attempted robbery and three counts of obstructing police.
He is to appear at the Stanthorpe Magistrates Court on October 18.
