Police have charged a 35-year-old Stanthorpe man with unlawful wounding and assault occasioning bodily harm following investigations into a disturbance at Stanthorpe on Sunday morning.
Officers were called to a Railway Street address about 1.30am following reports of a disturbance between
two men.
Upon arrival, one of the men was discovered with several wounds, believed to be knife inflicted.
A 26-year-old French National was transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries to his back and shoulders.
