Power restored

Ergon Energy crews had to replace a broken cross-arm on the high-voltage powerlines between War-wick and Stanthorpe to restore power to customers in the Stanthorpe region last Friday.
The damage on the 110kV powerlines near the Warwick Golf Club caused the power supply to 5400 customers to be interrupted at about 10.10am on October 12.
Supply was restored to the Stanthorpe substation from a 33kV line within an hour, but it did not have the capacity to supply all customers, so load shedding was required in the region.
The broken cross-arm was replaced, allowing the 110kV powerline to be re-energised by about 2.20pm. Load shedding involving off-peak supply ended about an hour later.
Customers in Amiens, Applethorpe, Ballandean, Dalveen, Glen Aplin, Severnlea, Stanthorpe, The Summit, Thulimbah and surrounding areas were affected by the outage.
