Police investigate man’s death

 

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the discovery of a man’s body in bushland near Tenterfield.

About 11:20am on Friday, February 1, police were called to Basket Swamp National Park, approximately 25 kilometres north-east of Tenterfield, after a park ranger located the body of a man near a remote campsite.

Police attended the national park and established a crime scene for forensic examination.

They are also appealing for anyone who was recently camping in the area or who may have information about the matter to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
