It’s Official! Jumpers and Jazz in July celebrate its 20th year and the Warwick Potters’ have turned 50.

Such an achievement for the potters. From a few dedicated members to a now strong active club, their work can be seen in the 400 bowls produced for soup night and pieces of pottery for sale in the gallery. So much has been achieved and they continue to strive to find new ways to produce that unique, one-of-a-kind, special piece of pottery for that hard-to-please person in your life.

What can one say, clay has a strong hold on the potter, clay is in our blood, on our hands and always on our minds. Times have changed, and ways of making and firing have changed, but the one thing constant is the potters love of playing with clay. Trying new ideas, looking for that special one-of-a-kind to make that very special piece we all seek.

And don’t forget the Warwick Potters’ Picnic in Park Craft Market on Sunday, 28 July to again close a marvellous ten days of exceptional Jazz music playing throughout the great town of Warwick. Markets are held in the lovely Leslie Park, Palmerin Street and run from 9am to 3pm Plenty of food and drinks are available and many wonderful stalls to browse through. Be it the Potters’ Soup Night or the Markets, enjoy your stay in Warwick.

New members are always welcome and information on the club can be accessed at our www.potters.org.au or by emailing info@potters.org.au
