The TJ Byrnes statue in Warwick’s CBD has had an outfit update this week, with a traffic come placed on his head for the majority of the week.
Our junior photographer, Anna Lahiff, captured this shot of the TJ Byrnes statue wearing his striking new hat.
This photo was captured last Sunday, and while the hat was gone yesterday it is now back on the statue.
It’s unclear how exactly the statue came to wear its new hat, or how someone got up that high without assistance.
