Churches of Christ in conjunction with Assumption College have launched a pilot intergenerational “Visitation Program” this month.
On Thursdays, students join our Aged Care residents for games and fun activities followed by afternoon tea in our Auditorium.
Warwick Aged Care resident Mary said Thursdays are my favourite day because that’s when the kids come.
“This program would not be successful without a team effort. Many thanks to the teachers at Assumption College, our wonderful aged care staff, lifestyle team and of course the thoughtful, courteous and respectful students that volunteer their time,” campus manager Noo Shepherd said.
