Southern Downs ARK has a number of dogs and cats up for adoption.
This week we’re highlighting ANISE.

Please meet Anise, one of four playful and affectionate Great Dane/Mastiff mix puppies from The Spice Litter.
They were born on 8 June 2022 and we have no information about their parents.
Anise is a placid, good-natured pup.
She loves to play with her littermates or any other dogs that happen to be around but has had no exposure to cats.
She enjoys the company of her human foster family and is the first to greet visitors who come to the door.
She’s more than a bit keen on a cuddle and a pat.
The GD/Mastiff mix is a calm, loving and affectionate dog.
She makes a good companion for older children but is not recommended for small children because of her size and strength.
Protective of her family, she will let you know if visitors come to the home, but nevertheless barks infrequently and only when there’s a good reason to do so.
GDs and Mastiffs can become couch potatoes but do better if exercised regularly.
They are dogs that want to be with their humans, so are not suited to a solitary life in the backyard.
Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and/or there is another compatible dog for Anise to play with.
As always, secure fencing is a must.

The adoption fee includes the cost of desexing when age-appropriate (conditions apply).
