Southern Downs Regional Council held a briefing in Wallangara on Wednesday 4 October.
Topics of discussion included the old post office, now the Telstra building, being an eye sore.
One resident said the lawns were unkept and untidy and it was not a good look for the town as travellers drove past it.
Another resident said a lot of new people were moving to town and there was a lack of public transport.
The resident asked council what could be done to help transport people from Wallangara to Stanthorpe.
A council information session will be held at Warwick on Wednesday 19 October.
