It was the year of hats and high energy at the Stanthorpe Cup on 22 October. People from all over gathered in the small town to celebrate a day of fast horses. And they certainly came dressed to impress. The winning wasn’t all on the track as Best dressed male was Ben Morgan, best-dressed couple was Allan Lane and Natalie Parry, Runner-up Best Contemporary look was Alice Brooks from Brisbane and winner Marnie Davison from Townsville, Runner up Classic Look was Barbara Thompson from Cooyar and the winner Nikki Knowles from Brisbane. The Stanthorpe Jockey Club rejoice in another wonderful year of racing and begin preparations for their next big event. After a little break, of course!
