Last Wednesday produced ideal conditions for golf at Stanthorpe. The ladies competed in their stableford competition. Neta Thouard played the lead role and was the winner with a very impressive 35 points. Neta was closely followed by runner up Lisa Stuart who played solid golf with 33 points.
Lisa dominated the pin shots and showed her chipping skills on to the greens by claiming the 3rd, 12th and 17th holes. Filomena Silver won the pin shot on the 5/14th and Linda Kelly on the 16th.
Wednesday competition dates for events coming up in 2024 include (Monthly Medal and Putting): Maureen Bates Memorial Day 10 April; Mid Week Championships 9 April; Single Stableford events: Ladies Wednesday Foursomes competition in March.
