Selling agents George and Fuhrmann have hailed a lucrative day at their annual weaner sale in Stanthorpe.
Almost 2600 of southern Queensland and northern New South Wales’ best bred weaners were put to the market at the Stanthorpe Showgrounds as part of the sale on 7 March.
George and Fuhrmann livestock salesman Blake Doro said it had been a “successful day in Stanthorpe”.
“All in all, we had a pretty good day I believe,” Mr Doro said.
“[I’m] pretty sure everyone will agree with me there.”
Mr Doro thanked both vendors and buyers for their support and said the next sale in Stanthorpe will be held on 4 April.
“That day will be more specifically for your good charolais cross calves …, so anyone chasing them sort of cattle, you’re attendance is highly recommended,” he said.
