Amiens State School welcomed back musician Josh Arnold to launch the special song they worked tirelessly on.

The song, titled Little Soldiers, was unveiled in front of an enthusiastic crowd of friends, family, and community members who gathered to listen to a live performance and watch the accompanying music video.

Mr Arnold, whose son serves in the army, expressed a deep personal connection to the project.

“I was very excited to create Little Soldiers with the students, and I think it’s fantastic to have that connection with Anzacs,” he said.

“It’s such a nice way to talk about how great these kids are and what they do at school.

“They are like little soldiers but in a really cool way.“

The project, which involved several days of intensive work, culminated in a song that celebrates the resilience and spirit of the students at Amiens State School.

Arnold’s involvement brought a unique energy and expertise to the process, helping the children create a piece of music that will be cherished for years to come.

Amiens State School Principal Tarnia Trimble expressed her gratitude and admiration for Arnold’s work with the students.

“I have seen Josh’s work before, but I could not imagine how he was going to work with these kids to write, learn, and perform a song in just two and a half days,“ Trimble said.

“But it absolutely worked like magic, and that product is going to be with us forever, so thank you.“

The event was a celebration of creativity, community, and the power of music to bring people together.

Little Soldiers not only honours the legacy of the Anzacs but also shines a light on the incredible talents and hard work of the students at Amiens State School.

As the music video played and the live rendition resonated through the school, it was clear that this project had left a lasting impact on everyone involved.
