Nestled in the heart of the Granite Belt, Granite Belt Retreat & Brewery offers a rustic and casual atmosphere perfect for those looking to enjoy great food, delicious beer, and a relaxing getaway. This unique venue combines the charm of a brewery with the comfort of a retreat, making it an ideal destination for both locals and visitors.

Granite Belt Retreat & Brewery isn’t just about the beer and food; it’s also home to 20 rustic timber cabins and the Hidden House, all just a short walk from the restaurant. These accommodations provide a cozy retreat, especially after an evening of sampling the brewery’s finest. The venue’s atmosphere is designed to be laid-back and welcoming, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The venue operates with varied hours throughout the week. From Tuesday to Thursday, the bar is open from 10 am to 5 pm, offering light snacks to complement the drinks. On Fridays through Mondays, the experience expands with a lunch service from 11.30am to 2.30pm and a dinner service from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, allowing guests to indulge in a more sophisticated menu that still retains the venue’s signature rustic charm.

For those planning larger gatherings, Granite Belt Retreat & Brewery can comfortably accommodate up to 120 guests for functions and events, with a smaller function room available for more intimate gatherings of up to 45 people.

The food menu at Granite Belt Retreat & Brewery showcases local produce and house-made items, reflecting the region’s rich culinary heritage. Lunches from Friday to Monday feature a casual brewery-style menu, while dinners offer a more refined selection of dishes, all crafted to maintain the venue’s relaxed atmosphere. During the week, guests can enjoy light bar snacks such as fish and chips, antipasto platters, and pulled pork nachos.

As a brewery, Granite Belt Retreat & Brewery prides itself on its beer, offering a core range that includes Dry Apple Cider, Sweet Apple Cider, Session Ale, Lager, Pale Ale, and IPA. For those looking for something special, there’s the Limited Release series, with this month’s highlight being “Darkness, My Old Friend,” a beer that promises to surprise and delight. Alongside their beer offerings, the venue also features a carefully curated wine list with local options and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages.

Although the venue doesn’t currently offer happy hour specials, it has a robust lineup of events to keep guests entertained. Oktoberfest is just around the corner, set for Saturday, 12th October, and Sunday, 13th October. The event will feature German specials, live music by crowd-favourite Phil Vellacott, and, of course, a selection of German beers on tap. Looking ahead, the venue hopes to resume its popular monthly Sunday sessions, complete with live music during the spring and summer months.

Granite Belt Retreat & Brewery strives to create an inclusive, family-friendly atmosphere where everyone feels welcome, including four-legged friends. The back deck is dog-friendly, and the cabins are designed with dog owners in mind. The venue’s goal is simple: to provide a space where guests can enjoy great food and beer while disconnecting from the stresses of daily life.

With its unique blend of rustic charm, community spirit, and commitment to quality, Granite Belt Retreat & Brewery is more than just a place to eat and drink—it’s a destination where memories are made. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick drink, enjoying a meal with friends, or staying overnight in one of the cozy cabins, you’re sure to leave feeling refreshed and satisfied.
