You can’t miss it but Anna and Shane Schnitzerling will.

Vincenzo’s at the Big Apple has been a huge part of the Schnitzerling’s life as they have owned the business for the past three years.

Anna said building a business up during Covid-19 that was closed four years prior was a difficult but rewarding task.

“Opening the doors and having people come in and say it’s great to see the icon back open—that meant a lot. I’m very lucky that I’ve had the opportunity to build up a really good business,” Anna said.

Vincenzo’s at the Big Apple has become a significant attraction for the region, drawing in hundreds of tourists while also serving as a well-known marker for locals.

For Anna, the connection to the apple industry runs deep. Her grandfather played a pivotal role in establishing Stanthorpe’s reputation as a key player in the Apple industry, making her role in the Big Apple business even more special.

However, the time has come for the Schnitzerlings to pass the torch.

“My husband and I feel it’s time to move on to something else and give someone else a chance to take the business to the next level,” Anna said.

Reflecting on the journey, Anna expressed gratitude for the support of local businesses and the partnerships they’ve built over the years.

“Everyone has something unique, and we work together. It’s a credit to everyone in the tourism industry in Stanthorpe,” she said.

“Most importantly my business has been blessed with great staff from the beginning.

“Without them, no one could survive.”

Now, the iconic Big Apple is up for sale, offering the next owner the opportunity to carry on its legacy. For more information, interested parties can contact Anna Schnitzerling at 0427 034 976.
